It is a glorious day here in Marin County, Northern California, just about a week shy of Valentine’s Day.  Today’s post will be simple and short.  The most important work a professional organizer does is help their clients see that accumulation = clutter, that acquisition = paralysis, that the best way to simplify and feel good in the home is to be more aware of and in control of materials that are coming into and going out of the house.

So, here’s what I do to maintain some order and love the environment.

"Clutter is stuck energy.
The word "clutter" derives from the Middle English word "clotter,"
which means to coagulate -
and that's about as stuck as you can get."
